About ME
My name is Courtney N. Huff. I was born in Pennsylvania, and currently reside in North Wilmington. I am blessed to say I have a wonderful husband who loves me more then life itself. Joining our love is our two beautiful children. Anthony who is 8, and Grace who is 2. I know GOD has put me here for these people. Before them my existence seemed unnecessary.

I graduated from Delcastle Technical High where I obtained not only a high school diploma, but also a Graduated Practical Nursing Degree. After I spent 18 months in training at Lincoln Technical, I obtained a Assocaiates Degree in Medical Assisting. I have used my knowledge of health to become a Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative at Penn Cardiology at Media. I have been a key member to the team for 7 years now. I have taken on managerial responsibilities in the office, but without a BS degree, I cannot get paid for what I do. Decisions need to be made over the next year. Either finishing my Nursing Degree or taking the heath care management route. Only doing one course at a time, and not knowing where my path will lead me, I do not have a graduate date from Delaware County Community College. With that being said my current goal is to have my career decision made by the end of this semester while I am finding my place in health care.

I have a crazy family that I would not trade for the world. We are all very close and there are many strong women who have set fourth the path of what it means to be in our family. I am also very close to my in-laws. I do not know how we would raise our kids without them. Our children are being brought up in a strong family unit and that is what we wanted. Food is the center of our family and I love creating dishes that everyone loves and enjoys. I take mental notes on who enjoyed what and try to re-create. Using new recipes with a little spin from myself keeps the family happy. I am 28 years old. I have only one girlfriend and she has been my best friend since 7th grade. Yes 16 years. My friends circle is very small due to my trust issues, but I have many acquaintances that I see often enough. I am a strong, beautiful woman who expects nothing less then perfect imperfectness from every one I keep in my circle.
As a student in high school I carried a 3.34 GPA, in my first college experience I obtained a 3.93. A GPA of 4.0 is always my goal. This English composition class however, has me thinking more of expanding my mind and thought process more then the letter grade. As with all works in progress, I will give 100% of my all. |
